What age groups do you teach at John's School of Music?
We welcome students of all ages, from young children starting at age 5 through adult learners. Lessons are tailored to each student's age, skill level, and learning pace.
Do I need to own an instrument before enrolling?
Not necessarily. We have instruments available for use during lessons at our school. For at-home practice, we're happy to recommend beginner-friendly options that fit your budget.
How long is each lesson and how often do classes run?
Standard lessons run 45-60 minutes, once or twice a week depending on your chosen program. Group classes and workshops follow their own published schedules.
Can I try a class before committing to enrollment?
Yes, we offer a trial lesson so you can meet your instructor and experience our teaching style before signing up for a full program.
What is your cancellation and make-up lesson policy?
We ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations. Missed lessons with proper notice can be rescheduled within the same month, subject to instructor availability.
